GENERAL TERMS FOR PROCESSING PERSONAL DATA AND REGISTER DESCRIPTION CONCERNING AM PRINT OY’S OPERATIONS AND SERVICES<\/p>\n\n
1. PURPOSE AND SCOPE<\/strong><\/p>\n\n The application of the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation 2016\/679 (\u201dGDPR\u201d) begins on May 25, 2018.<\/p>\n\n In addition, the Data Protection Regulation requires the data processor and data controller to agree in writing on the processing of personal data.<\/p>\n\n 2. The customer has the right to request modification or deletion of data to the extent provided by law. <\/p>\n\n Personal data is processed lawfully, with due care and in accordance with good data processing practices. <\/p>\n\n AM Print Oy requires partner companies acting as data processors to apply and comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (2016\/679). <\/p>\n\n 3. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY<\/strong><\/p>\n\n AM Print Oy is not liable for any indirect or consequential damages.<\/p>\n\n 4. PROTECTIVE MEASURES<\/strong><\/p>\n\n AM Print Oy implements and maintains appropriate operational, administrative, physical, and technical measures to protect personal data from accidental, unauthorized, or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration, disclosure, or access, ensuring that all processing of personal data complies with applicable data protection legislation.<\/p>\n\n Technical protective measures must include up-to-date antivirus protection. AM Print Oy restricts access to personal data only to those employees who have sufficient authorization and training, a clearly defined need to know the personal data, are bound by appropriate confidentiality terms, and process personal data in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation. <\/p>\n\n 5. Purpose of the Register<\/strong><\/p>\n\n The register is used for managing customer relationships, customer communication, and marketing. The register data is used for AM Print Oy’s own direct marketing, unless the customer has prohibited direct marketing. <\/p>\n\n Customer data is not disclosed to external parties. In addition to AM Print Oy, the data is processed by selected partners to the extent appropriate and in accordance with the Data Protection Regulation. The processing of personal data is in all cases appropriate for the customer’s operations. Personal data is processed within the framework of the aforementioned or separately agreed purpose and for the time required by applicable legislation. The aim is to operate in a customer-oriented manner and to take into account customers’ different habits. <\/p>\n\n 5. Data Content of the Register<\/strong><\/p>\n\n The customer register consists of one main register. The customer data forms the following datasets stored about the customer: <\/p>\n\n 6. Regular Data Sources<\/strong><\/p>\n\n The register’s contact and customer information is obtained when the customer relationship is established and during it from notifications, inquiries, and requests made by the customer to the data controller. Such examples include quotation requests\/orders. <\/p>\n\n We do not disclose customer data to external parties under any circumstances.<\/p>\n\n AM Print Oy stores only such customer data as it needs on a legal basis (such as accounting) or for the purpose of maintaining the customer relationship.<\/p>\n\n 7. Principles of Register Protection<\/strong><\/p>\n\n Physical data is stored in a locked space and only relevant personnel have access to it. <\/p>\n\n Machine-readable material: Only specifically designated AM Print Oy personnel are authorized to use the system containing customer data and to modify customer data. <\/p>\n\n Each user has their own username and password for the system. The customer register and the information system hardware processing it are located in locked and guarded premises. <\/p>\n\n The system is protected by a firewall against external connections. Confidentiality obligations bind employees processing customer register data. <\/p>\n\n Information is disclosed or released to external parties only due to a legal obligation to report, such as at the customer’s own request or at the request of an authority based on law.<\/p>\n\n 8. Right to Inspect and Correct Personal Data<\/strong><\/p>\n\n AM Print Oy updates the customer register regularly through its own operations and information provided by the customer and\/or partner. The customer and partner have the right to inspect data concerning themselves, the right to demand correction of incorrect information, the right to prohibit the use of their data for direct marketing or similar purposes, and otherwise to resort to the rights guaranteed by the Personal Data Act.
